Spektra, a company of the Trimble Inc. group, is an established reality in the distribution of solutions for the construction, earthmoving, surveying and precision agriculture sectors.

The customer's need
Spektra needed to renew the hardware and software infrastructure which in a few years had become obsolete and undersized due to the exponential growth of the company in terms of resources and demand for performance. The decision taken by the management was to move towards a private Cloud solution, identifying Vertigo as the right partner for skills and service level.

How we helped the client achieve their goals
The already virtual on-premise infrastructure was migrated to the Cloud infrastructure by means of a virtual bridge, configured to meet Spektra's business continuity needs throughout the migration process. The virtual servers in the Cloud were then downsized to add essential performance and resources to Spektra's growing need.
